Originally it was planned for the main island to expand into the ocean, but I just couldn't ruin all the beaches on the coast, so I decided to build a few additional islands - two tiny ones and one medium sized on the western side, and two large on the nort-east. The first one built was the largest on the left, for which was created the first significant wider street heading from the center of the central circle straight to the west. I added four new layers at this point. First one is the yellow "bridges" layer, then here is the blue-ish "external transport" layer, brown "public transport" layer, and a light blue "water surfaces" layer.
The greatest new thing at this stage is of course almost completely populated, the biggest island in the middle. Street heading north-east from the central circle was widered and extended all across the new island, and a central square on a new island was formed.
